New user authorization features are introduced into WVP Enterprise. Objective is to allow for a larger user community, while managing functions each user has access to. This also allows for each user to create her/his own environment and settings customized to suit.

A No setting of “Enforce-Security” parameter will overwrite these new features.

User Classes

WVP E users are divided into two classes:

Manager– This class of users are responsible for managing the overall WVP E configuration environment, as well as user maintenance and authorization. A Manager may add/update/delete users of either Manager or Staff class. A Manager can also change a Staff user into a Manager.

First Manager user is set at initial installation. User is asked to identify the guardian user id (Group.User) of a Manager.
