Version: v2016.9.0: Includes enhancements to SCM and Dailies

Release Date: August 23, 2016

Description:

  • SCM report generation now enables you to separate “business transactions”. Albeit a simple percentage setting, it banks of your knowledge of your environment, and separates business and separate transactions on its forecasting graphs. Also note that graphs look cleaner, and offer data tables.
  • The new and comprehensive emails you receive every day from RA are called Dailies. As part of your preference settings (Edit -> Preferences), you may set to receive the time of the day you receive these. If that’s too many emails, a new option allows you to set this to come once a week on a given weekday, for a specific prior week’s weekday.
  • The “CPU Busy” graph on the Dailies now has a blue background showing the average CPU busy of all CPUs at each interval. This is a visual guide to help you easily notice CPUs that diverge from the average, either below or above it.
  • Four of the Dailies graphs (Busiest Process, Disk Queue, Highest Receive Queue, and TMF) now compare activity to the same week day last week. You see a new line: “Last week”, on these graphs. These help you quickly note anomalies, as activities are expected to be similar for same weekday and hours. Also, in a few weeks and as more data comes in, you will notice yet another line: “Last month”. This compares the reported day’s activity to the same weekday of the same week last month. For instance, if the report date is the third Tuesday of this month, the “Last month” line shows the activity of the third Tuesday of last month. In addition to “Last week”, again this helps you note anomalies.
